This age-old problem began with Adam! Is your focus, even as a born-again Christian, on pleasing or appeasing God with your performance so you can be blessed? On trying to be good so God will be happy with you? If you are depending on what you do to have a good relationship with God, then you've been deceived by religion. God has unconditional love for you and shed His blood to have a Father-Son relationship with you when you were still a mess! He wants you to walk in line with His kingdom to reap its benefits, not so you can score points with Him! Listen and keep listening to this message, and have the relationship with God that you long for!

Fulfillment is found where you belong. If God created you to be a car, you can't be a boat and be happy about it! The gifts you were born with can be used for strife or for joy, for fruitfulness or for uselessness. When you seek the kingdom of God, pursuing God's eternal purposes first of all, you will find your specific purpose within it, and peace and joy will be the by-products of it.

This key to victory and longevity is simple -- continual repentance. Do you hear God's Word as a voice of judgment or as a heart of love, correcting His child?
